Lee Dewerson

Lee Dewerson isn’t just the Founder and Managing Director of Safe n Sound Electrical Ltd – he’s the driving force behind its success. Since founding the company in 2011, Lee’s combination of technical expertise, friendly personality, and adaptability has ensured Safe n Sound stays ahead of the ever-evolving technology curve. 

Originally from the UK, Lee’s educational background in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering laid the groundwork for a versatile career. From electrician work (including a stint on the iconic Sydney Bridge Climb!) to electrical and network projects in Auckland, Lee has a wealth of experience across various disciplines. He also recognized the critical role technology plays in security and entertainment, leading Safe n Sound to expand its services to include network, Wi-Fi, and automation systems. 

Lee’s passion for technology extends beyond security. With a deep love for music, he fueled his entrepreneurial spirit by starting Event Promotions in 2000. Over 18 years, he promoted hundreds of events across North Island, further cementing his connections within the community. He even spent a decade as a radio host, adding another layer to his communication and people skills. 

When he’s not leading the charge at Safe n Sound, you can find Lee enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two energetic boys. They’re a family that thrives on adventure, whether it’s camping trips, exploring new activities, or taking long bike rides. Lee also cherishes his close network of friends and still finds time to dust off his DJ skills for the occasional event

Mark brings a strong foundation of electrical expertise to Safe n Sound, boasting 15 years of experience in the field. His certifications in networking, automation, audio/visual, and project management further solidify his well-rounded skill set. 

Naturally curious, he was drawn to the ever-evolving world of technology at a young age. His experience in building custom homes and car audio systems translates seamlessly into his work at Safe n Sound, providing valuable insight into the company’s audio/visual projects.

Mark’s day-to-day tasks are multifaceted. He manages project schedules, oversees the team, contributes hands-on with their technical expertise, and collaborates with the sales manager to design custom solutions for clients.

Time management is a key challenge he skillfully navigate. The supportive nature of the Safe n Sound team ensures he always has a helping hand when needed, allowing him to consistently deliver top-notch results.

Mark plays a crucial role in Safe n Sound’s mission by guaranteeing projects are completed on time and to the highest standards, ultimately exceeding client expectations. He describes his work style as a blend of collaboration, meticulous attention to detail, and a natural ability to solve problems.

When he is not busy ensuring your projects run smoothly, you might find him firing up the grill. Mark is part of a competitive, award-winning low n slow BBQ team, constantly honing his skills and bringing a touch of smoky magic to weekends.

Winnie brings over three decades of corporate expertise to the Safe n Sound team, with a distinguished career spanning prestigious organizations such as Westpac Fiji, ASB Auckland, Fletchers Auckland, Mercury Energy Auckland, and Tonkin & Taylor Auckland. Armed with a Diploma in Accounting and Business Management, Winnie has effectively applied her skills to support business growth initiatives since 2015, aiming to share her extensive knowledge with small to medium-sized enterprises.

As the Office Manager at Safe n Sound, Winnie oversees all financial aspects and operational functions of the company. Her meticulous attention to detail and dedication to achieving successful outcomes define her professional reputation. She ensures that every aspect of the company’s operations runs smoothly, contributing directly to Safe n Sound’s overall efficiency and success.

Winnie has dedicated herself to supporting the growth of small and medium businesses, leveraging the knowledge she gained throughout her impressive career. She ensures the smooth operation of every aspect of the company’s finances and day-to-day functions.

Beyond the office, Winnie finds fulfillment in sports, particularly hockey and squash, where she has proudly represented both Fiji and Auckland. Her competitive spirit and dedication on the field translate seamlessly into her approach to managing the office environment, where precision and teamwork are paramount.
